RAF 2503 Series Connected Dual Stage Fan
In the RAF 2503 radial blower pressure generation is achieved through two series connected stages creating a high negative pressure (vacuum) of 20 kPa, the largest of any Dustcontrol radial blower. With a unique blend of inlet flow and negative pressure the RAF 2503 is an ideal fit for high volume dust extraction applications. The RAF 2503 is equipped with vibration isolation and a silenced enclosure to keep operating noise minimal. This unit should always be equipped with an exhaust silencer (inlet also if required) to further reduce noise. As with all Dustcontrol radial blowers the RAF 2503 is directly driven and has minimal service requirements (lubrication interval 10000 hours), making it a reliable unit for any dust extraction system.
RAF 2503 develops a maximum negative pressure of 20 kPa. Note that the maximum airflow is 2800 m3/h. Above this, the power consumption would be too large for the 30 kW motor, so the design of the system must throttle to this level for all cases.
